LA Comedy Awards Gets Senior Executive Producer Tony Boldi

LACA Host Tamara Henry and Jay Leno

Tamara Henry is a well known local Hollywood celebrity who is invited to all the red carpet events and benefits. Recently Henry was with Jay Leno and informally invited him to attend our show. We hope to get him.

LACA Legacy Brand

LA Comedy Awards was created similar in structure to Al Bowman's LA Music Awards after working together on a daily basis. LA Music Awards was an idea of Bill Gazzarri to recognize independent artists on their talent, popularity, determination and participation.

Bill Gazzarri launched Van Halen The Doors and many others from his club now called Key Club. Gazzarri was the creator of the pre sale ticket idea which encouraged independent artists to network in the community and learn marketing, promotions and publicity.

Gazzarri was going broke hiring bands with no draw/fans. They were using the club like a rehearsal space so he gave them a goal to achieve and prove themselves by pre selling tickets, to build a fan base.

Gazzarri, Hollywood Rock club owner knew what he was talking about. He wanted to help the artists and his venue succeed and his ideas did just that. Van Halen continues to do good with pre sale tickets.

One day Gazzarri said to Bowman “ya oughta have an Award show for the little guys”. Bowman started LA Music Awards, the perfect showcase idea for independent artists.

LA Music Awards is poised to host Bill Clinton and Gene Simmons at this years 21st Annual main event on the Paramount lot.

Coming directly from this chain of events is what gives LA Comedy Awards a Hollywood legacy brand name.

The Awards are cut by the same artist who makes the Walk of Fame Stars. We created an original Gold Silver and Bronze Star set.
